There are a million things I could say right now, but they'd embarrass you to no end. I'll settle for telling you that when I think of all the good things that I've done in my life, you are at the very top of the list. Best collaborative effort ever. :)

So it's been a bit of an "Ultraman" weekend here. Red and I watched a few episodes of "Ultraman" and "Ultraman Max", and remarkably she hasn't thwacked me for doing the "Police Squad" theme whenever Hayata takes the Corvair out for a spin(out).

I cooked breakfast this morning and while we were feasting I came up with the following ditty, done of course to the dubbed opening theme of the original series:

Ultraman is on the can
Leave a message at the tone
Ultraman, if he can,
Will call you back when he is done..."

That was regrettably as far as I got due to the resounding thwack I received.

We have a silly little game going on at work. It started when one guy left a few pennies atop his cubicle cabinet (which is visible from the aisle). Someone else left a few pennies, then another, then another...and it's reached the point now where there's enough loose change sitting there that you can write short messages with 'em. The initial point was to see how long it would take before someone would steal the change, but it's taken on a life of its own.

At one point someone left a few Canadian coins, to the bewilderment of us all. I walked by just now and one new coin caught my eye. "That's a 'Chuck E Cheese' game token!" I said to the owner.

"Yeah, and you must be a parent, because you're the first person to know exactly what it was," he replied.
